Beginner Tumbling (45 minute class)

  • Warm up ( 10 minutes)
    • 100 Jumping Jacks
    • Straight leg kicks (front then side)
    • Knee grabs
    • Quad stretch
    • Inch worms
    • Stretch (wrist, ankles, arms, neck, bridge)
  • Station Tumbling (15 minutes per group)
    • If there is only one group go through stations twice
    • If there is a trampoline group, make sure the groups switch after 15 minutes
  • Cool down / Game / Workout (5 minutes)
    • Cool down stretch if necessary 
    • Play a game with the students
    • Have the students workout if there were not any stations that incorporated this.

 

*If there are two coaches on one class make sure one coach does the warm ups while another coach sets up stations to optimize time with the coaches.

*Please follow the time constraints designated by the lesson plan.  Warms ups should NOT last any longer than the assigned time.
