Within 48 hours of the meeting, the gym owner/manager will compile the list of fundraisers submitted. The list will look like this:

  • Double Good Popcorn: 

 

Details: 50% of all profits are given to the client. This is an online pop-up store where family members and friends can order their popcorn online. The popcorn is popped fresh and shipped to the client within 48 hours via UPS. 

Pros: No pre-purchase of any kid is required. No sorting and shipping. No money handling is required. Most cheer organizations do this fundraiser with success.

Cons: The Boy Scouts sell popcorn, so you would want to time this appropriately. 

 

 

  • Vaughn Heavenly Linens:

 

Details: Sheets are sold for $35 and $10 of every purchase goes back to the member. 

Pros: No pre-purchase is required. Shipping may need to be done, but is at your discretion. Our families have had a ton of success with this in the past. 

Cons: There needs to be a single-point of contact to coordinate the money with Twisters and distribute sheets. 

 

 

  • FunPasta: FunPasta allows you to sell fun-shaped pasta online for a 40% profit. Out of town family and friends go directly to the website to order. Orders over $50 qualify for free shipping. The order is placed by the group, but purchasers will put in the name of the individual they are sponsoring. 

 

Pros: No pre-purchase is required. This fundraiser has proven beneficial in the past. 

Cons: This fundraiser requires a single-point of contact to coordinate the money and distribute the pasta. It also may be slightly more difficult to calculate the fees that will be applied to each account, but it is possible via percentages of total sales.

 

 

  • Soap Smart Detergent: This laundry detergent is $49.95 for a 5-gallon bucket. The bucket comes with a smaller container and a pump. This detergent washes up to 640 loads. $20 of each bucket comes back to you. 

 

Pros: This offers a high return on investment. There is no pre-purchase and the product is a staple in the house – something people already buy. This is done by a local distributor. This can be done several times per year.

Cons: This is not an item you would want to ship, so those who purchase from you need to be local.
