Position Agreement- All Star Team Coach
This is a position agreement by and between the All Star Coach and the Owner of (Your Gym Name) and is intended to franchise prototype the relationship between these two positions.
Results Statement: This position is responsible for working on a daily basis with our All Star Team Athletics. It is your responsibility to ensure that every team athlete is educated and prepared with appropriate skills and safety on and off the mat.
Entrepreneurial Work:
1. Observe and Document ideas and that will continue to improve the client experience for our families
2. Observe and Document ideas that will help to improve the class product that we put out.
3. Observe and Document ideas that will help the leadership and team building aspect throughout the gym.
Technical Work:
1. Document your practice plan
a. Using the composition notebook provided, document your weekly practice schedule
b. indicating what tasks you expect to be working on at practice this week.
c. Your practice plan is intended to “liberate” you from constant, unnecessary supervision throughout the season
d. This notebook must be include everything you think your supervisor should know about your work completed, in progress and planned for the season. This is not something you get “graded” on, on the contrary, this is your system for taking charge of your team, letting your supervisor know how you see using your time each week.
e. Completing a nightly End of Day Report located in the pin post of the staff FB page.
Monthly Benchmarks
In order for this position to exist, the following monthly benchmarks must be hit.
1. Ensuring All Star Teams are meeting and exceeding monthly benchmarks set up once choreography has been received.
2. Maintain a retention rate of 85%
General Standards for all employees:
1. The primary concern is for the client (student & parents). Client needs will be met in a manner or consistent with company mission.
2. Every employee will present themselves with the highest level of integrity and professionalism at all times. Anything that violates this can cause in dismissal from our program.
3. As an employee of (Your Gym Name) your job is to protect and support the image of our directors and the program. If you have an issue it needs to be discussed with directors behind closed doors. If you are not supporting the program, you don’t belong as a part of it.
4. All clients and fellow employees will be greeted and treated in a friendly, professional manner. Remember we are in the relationship business.
5. Clients should be treated with respect at all times. Use of phrases like please and thank you are required when speaking with our clients.
6. Coaches should not be making or taking personal calls while on the floor.
7. Attend all staff meetings
8. Arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early to all (Your Gym Name) activities and every team and class you coach.
9. Employees will enjoy learning, creating and improving systems.
10. Employees will be pro-active, anticipate problems, and demonstrate enthusiasm about their work.
11. Employees will strive to have fun and work, and be fun to work with.
12. Employees will communicate effectively with parents, athletes, staff, and the public about (Your Gym Name)’s policies, programs, competitions and other initiatives
13. Effort will be made to help employees/peers perform to the best of their ability and to meet company and department standards.
14. Employees will understand that social media is not a private aspect of your life. All posts should be treated as a direct reflection of (Your Gym Name).
15. As a Coach, you will have access to documents, finance information, business operational aspects, trade secrets and various other items. It is expected that this information will ONLY be used for the purposes of your work with (Your Gym Name) and with the EXPRESSED consent of its owner, (OWNER NAME)
16. As Coach, your Non-Compete Contract with our program is expanded to include the following: You may not operate as an Owner, Director of Investor of a youth sports gym within a 120 mile radius of (Your Gym Name) for a period of 3 years following your departure from (Your Gym Name) You may not coach all-star cheerleading within 20 miles of (Your Gym Name) for a full year following your departure from (Your Gym Name). You may not contact any past, current or future (Your Gym Name) athletes for the purpose of recruiting them to another program, team or business related to cheerleading, gymnastics, ninja, warrior or dance for a period of 3 years following your departure from (Your Gym Name). You may not solicit any (Your Gym Name) customers for any reason whatsoever.
17. A written letter of resignation is requested when resigning/leaving the company. Such written notice will be presented to your immediate supervisor and the owner.
Statement of the Position Holder:
I accept the accountabilities of this position and agree to produce the results, perform the work, and meet the standards set forth in this position agreement. I understand that failure to meet the above standards can lead to termination of my position.
