This is the lesson plan used by Twisters for the February 2021 Frozen Dance Camp.

Decorating:

  • Light blue, white, and purple streamers 
  • Light blue table clothes if we need them for the craft 
  • Light blue, purple, and white balloons 

Timing: 

  • 9:00-9:15 Warmups and Introduction 
  • 9:15-9:50 Dance
  • 9:50-10:20 Drink Break and Activities 
  • 10:20-10:45 Craft (tables in between blue and black floor) 
  • 10:45-10:55 Review of Dance (Black Floor) 
  • 10:55-11:00 Performance and Pictures (Black Floor) 

Games:

  • Color Tag Olaf is the tagger 
  • Snowball Toss 
  • Snowman Slam
  • Marshmallow Freeze Tag
    • To play this game, one player is Elsa and one player is the Marshmallow monster. The rest of the kids are Annas and Kristoffs. Elsa must stay in her ice castle (a small space, such as a square marked off with colored tape on the floor). The marshmallow monster stands in the middle of the room and the remaining players start on the opposite side of the ice castle. When the game begins, the players must try to reach Elsa in her ice castle without being tagged by the Marshmallow. Any players who are tagged by the Marshmallow are frozen in place and it’s up to the other players to get past the Marshmallow in order to free their frozen friends. The first player to tag Elsa gets to trade places with her.
