Virtual Classes: Cardio 1

 

Reminder for Coach:

 

  • You should be engaged with the kids just like in class
  • Wear a staff shirt
  • Make sure the background for your video is great!
  • Try to talk with every kid in every class

 

 

Class Plan: 

 

  • Welcome- 2 Minutes
  • Have everyone enter their name in the chat for attendance
  • Remind them that they should stay muted unless they have a question
  • Have cameras on for feedback
  • Warm Up- Coach should demo each activity so they know what to do
  • 1 minute of Jumping Jacks
  • 30 Seconds of body twists
  • 30 Seconds of arm circles (15 Forward 15 back)
  • 30 seconds of High Knees
  • 30 seconds of butt kickers
  • Stretch-
  • Straddle
  • Reach Left
  • Reach Right
  • Reach Middle
  • Lunge
  • Straight Leg
  • Splits
  • Switch
  • Ankles

 

 

 

  • 3 sets 30 second rest in between
  • 30 second up-downs (no push up)
  • 30 second plank shoulder taps
  • 30 second plank jacks
  • 30 second hollow body jumps side to side with arms by ears
  • 30 second high knees
  • 30 second butt kickers

 

 

 

  • 3 Sets with 1 minute break in between each set (they will need the Knee high object here)
  • 30 seconds jumping jacks
  • 30 seconds of toe taps on object
  • 30 seconds frog jumps in place
  • 30 seconds mountain climbers
  • 30 seconds high knees
  • 30 seconds butt kickers

 

 

 

  • 6 minutes straight alternate every minute (they will need the other small object)
  • Alternating feet side to side jumps over item
  • Running in place

 

(IE Side to side for 1 min, run in place for 1 min, etc)
