Subject Line: Twister Kids See the Big Picture: Building a Community
Hey %FIRSTNAME%!
I wanted to check in to see how you’re doing! I’m not sure what you’ve heard about Twisters, but there’s a fair chance you’ve seen our athletes out in the community doing something amazing! We’re so proud of each of them for the things they do to help others!
One of the core values here at our gym is, “Character is Key.” That means we teach athletes that “Who I am and who I am becoming is important!” Not only is our own character development important, but using our resources to help others makes us a vital part of our community.
From time to time, you’ll see our athletes volunteering for non-profit organizations and even selling lemonade or face painting to raise money for those in need. You’ll see in the picture above when our athletes set up a lemonade stand to help raise money for PACK, which is an organization that helps provide school supplies for all students regardless of income.
Imagine sitting at your desk on the first day of school and knowing you aren’t prepared. The thought of that makes me sad and truly – it made our athletes sad – to think of a child who starts the school year already lacking the confidence to succeed. One of our missions here at Twisters is to ALWAYS use our resources to help others in the community – whether than means to help them purchase school supplies, help the animal shelter provide bedding, help United Way with winter coat and blanket donations or helping the Salvation Army and local food pantries with our annual canned food drive.
At the end of the day, we’re not just teaching tumbling or cheerleading. We’re helping you raise the next generation of world-changers. Our programs are serious – there’s no doubt about that. But they are also fun, and they teach character. I’d like to invite you to check out our class schedule and see if there is a class that your child might enjoy. I promise we’ll teach him or her skills. But I can also promise we’ll teach focus, fitness, social skills and community.
Sincerely,
Danielle & Angie
Twister Sports, Owners
P.S. If you know of a non-profit organization that fits with the values we mentioned above, we would absolutely love to connect with them!
