Definition of Daily Posts
Muscle Monday – This is a cute picture of athletes showing their muscles. Ideally, you would Photoshop the image to have a black banner with a 70% opacity and use the font “Shefilla” or “SignPainter”. The red and white logo should be placed on the banner.
Motivational Monday – This is a picture of a quote that speaks to you! We like them to be ones that fit into work, success, friendship etc. Post with something about it and the #- #motivationalmonday #twistersmotivates You can post the same post on both social media platforms.
Tell Me Tuesday Examples
Week 1- We all remember dressing up for Halloween. What’s the costume you remember the most? (Silly costume kid picture.)
Week 2- Poll: Where do you trick-or-treat? (Options: Downtown, Trunk or Treat, Neighborhood)
Week 3- What’s your favorite Halloween candy? Candy corn has us feeling like fall 😉
Week 4- Did you carve or decorate pumpkins this month? Share your picture!!
Fit Tip Tuesday- Fit Tip Tuesday is a video made with iMovie. The template has an intro and outro video. There should be three exercises or drills performed by Patrick and Melanie. Ensure all speaking matches audio and there are clean cuts. #fittiptuesday #fitkids
Wellness Wednesday- This is made in PostermyWall. This is a graphic with a wellness tip that applies to families and children. It can be about fitness, hydration, bone and muscle health or nutrition. #wellnesswednesday #healthyfamilies
Work for it Wednesday – Show videos of teams or athletes working on skills. These do not have to be perfect videos! The point of this is to show people kids working and getting better!! #workforitwednesday #twisterskills
Wednesday Warriors – Post Something Like this, “Happy Wednesday Warriors! The best thing we can do it acknowledge and celebrate great things that happen in the gym! Did you see something great happen this week? Shout it out, we want to hear all about it! Who is your Wednesday warrior?” #wednesdaywarriors
Thankful Thursday – One of the greatest ways to live a happy life is to be thankful! What are you thankful for today? #thankfulthursdays (To find a good image to go with this, search Thankful Thursday and look at images)
Throwback Thursday – This can be any fun post, pull up an old video, an old pic and make it fun! Make it fun and sentimental. Tag any parents who have kids in the photo. #ThrowbackThursday
Fun Fact Friday – Find a fun fact for the day. Like did you know today is national pizza day? Did you know that the average person drinks 4 glasses of water a day? How much water do you drink daily? #funfactfriday
Newcomer Welcome – This is the perfect chance to post our newcomer’s photos and welcome them to our gym.
Random Friday Photos – This is the post we hope to get parents looking for! They want to see fun pictures and videos of their children having a blast at the gym.
Relax – This is a friendly reminder to our parents and families to enjoy their weekend and spend some time relaxing over the weekend. Searching Google Images with the term “Relax Saturday” or “Relax Sunday” works well for this. (Don’t go too cheesy.)
Star Stand Out – This is a great chance to give an athlete in the gym a shoutout for working hard, getting a new skill or displaying great character-building traits.
Sunday Poll – Use this post to build engagement about something fun. “Did you go to BurgFest this weekend?” “Is your tree decorated yet??” “T-Shirt or Hoodie weather?”
Community Share – In this post, we’ll share a flyer or event for a community partner that we’re endorsing. This can be something fun at Buckeye Acres, Pixie Pumpkin Patch, Rise Community Services, UCM, etc. It should be something that does NOT conflict with a major Twisters event. It should be kid-or-family-friendly and not something someone is making a big profit from. (Once a month, you can share information on Bountiful Baskets too!)
Engaging Individual or Group Photo – This can be a team photo or class photo. Cater it toward 5th grade and up unless it’s a very adorable photo. The target audience on Instagram is middle school and high school.
