Objective Statement: Staff meetings should be conducted with the most efficient methods to ensure all staff have received information, been provided an opportunity for feedback and all members of the meeting believe it to be effective and professional. A variety of staff meetings can be used throughout the year to accomplish your goals. Review the types of staff meetings below to determine which would most effectively meet your needs.

Types of Meetings

  • Daily Standup
      1. Purpose
        1. Quick – 10 minutes max
        2. Can be for Coaching Staff and/or Admin staff

          2. Any changes or things to know for the day
        2. Admin Staff
          1. What are you working on
          2. Does anyone need help with anything
  • Weekly Staff Meetings
      1. Purpose
        1. Increase communication with staff
        2. Increase buy in from staff
      2. Agenda
        1. Highlight or win from the week 
        2. Scorecard (i.e. Trial stats, registration numbers, etc.) What are you currently at and what is your goal
        3. Program/Team Updates – Working on and challenges
        4. Updates/Reminders/Special Events 
        5. Questions/Issues/Concerns
        6. Recap of Action Items – What, Who and by when 
  • Core Staff/Partners Meetings
    1. Purpose
      1. Strategic 
      2. Decision Making/Outcome based
    2. Agenda
      1. Highlight or win from the week 
      2. Review To-Do’s from the last week 
      3. Scorecard (i.e. Trial numbers, registration numbers, etc.) 
      4. Strategic Priorities Review
      5. Area Updates
