This lesson plan focuses on jumps, stunt drills and learning a fun 16-count dance.

Begin the class by asking the children: “What is your favorite thing to do outside?”

Make sure you know the names of each child. People can be renamed in Zoom if that helps you to remember.

High V, T

 

Tuck Jump:

Teach jumps approach

Lay and practice tuck jumps

Up and practice tuck jumps

 

Toe Touch:

Teach High V jumps approach

V-ups

Up and practice a toe touch

 

Stunting:

Teach what each position is

Base: Teach how we base and do some drills

Flyer: Teach flyer skills

Teach 2 x 8-counts

 

Stretching:

Straddle

Scissors with dish towel

Runner’s stretch

End the class with hands in to the camera counting 1-2-3 “Twisters!”
