Posed photos can work great for a variety of marketing and informational materials including: Your website, social media and email marketing. Creating a group of your own stock images is very easy if you bring in a photographer and have athletes in your gym’s gear. Be sure to do the following things:

1. Obtain a consent waiver from any parents who allow their children to participate. See verbiage below. (This ensures that if an athlete is no longer training in you gym, you have the rights to use the photos.)
2. Avoid any shots that someone could consider promiscuous. Toes touches, splits and straddles should only be photographed in leggings.
3. By hand-picking athletes, you can ensure you have the right mix of ages that cater to your target market and that parents aren’t using it as a free photo shoot for their children.
4. Make sure to show diversity in your gym even if you don’t live in a culturally diverse area. This helps all families feel comfortable and welcome at your gym.

Note to parents: This is an optional consent and not required to purchase you photo package. We love to celebrate and highlight our athletes. These images help us grow our programs and provide additional opportunities to all families. Thank you for your consideration. (If consent is provided, we will provide notification of which images we’d like to use. There is no expiration to this consent.)
