LESSON PLAN

  • Warm up (10 – 15 minutes)
    • 5 minute jog
    • Full Body Dynamic Stretch
  • Cardio
    • Partner Workouts (Down and back twice) (Full Width of a cheer floor)
      • Wheelbarrow carries
        • While one athlete is on their hands the other athlete is holding the partners legs in the air to help assist them walk on their hands.
      • Piggy Back Rides
      • Power Hurdle Partner Jumps
        • One partner lays on the ground while the other partner gap jumps over them.  The the athlete who was jumping now lays down and the other partner gaps jumps them.
  • Strength 
    • Tug of War
      • Tug of War Against me
    • Push Up to Backward Handstands
      • While the athletes backs are facing the wall have them get into a push up position, from there the athlete will walk their feet up the wall while walking their hands closer to the wall with the goal of making it to a backwards handstand.
    • Mat Push
      • Partner up 
  • Core 
    • Partner leg throws
      • Assign their partners (20 reps)
    • Masterpack Ab Routine
      • Pick one circuit depending on the group
