Twister Sports is excited to announce its newest program, “Twisters 2 U.” This fantastic program allows busy parents the opportunity to get their toddler or preschooler in a tumbling or martial arts class while the child is at daycare or preschool. Tumbling and martial arts provide phenomenal benefits to children of all ages, and can have a significant impact on a child’s self-discipline. Our curriculum will:
- Build self-confidence and effective communication skills
- Enhance children’s flexibility and strength
- Build character through goal-setting and mentorship
- Create a healthy independence needed for school
- Improve gross motor skills, balance and flexibility
Twister Sports has a fantastic reputation in the Warrensburg community and serves more than 500 families in the Mid-Missouri area. As families take on after-school activities, homework and sometimes second jobs, more and more we hear about families who want to get their children in an activity to help them grow in the areas listed above – but sometimes aren’t able to commit to a weekly class.
Our amazing staff is safety-certified and highly experienced, but most importantly, we thrive in helping children to SET and GET their goals. Our classes require no more than a 16’ x 16’ space, an instructor and a few pieces of Twister Sports equipment. “Twisters 2 U” tumbling staff bring a mini-trampoline, single bar, balance beam and other fun equipment designed for young children. During the martial arts classes, an instructor works with preschoolers to teach the fundamentals of martial arts.
We would love to join forces with the Early Childhood Opportunity Center to offer this program to your clients. We believe our mission to develop children into character-driven adults is the same. We also understand that parents are busy and WANT a program like this! Here’s how the program works:

2. Twisters hosts a free demo-day for children to try the program.
3. Parents register their children and pay for the program on our website at twistersports.com.
4. The program costs $59/6 weeks. At the end of the 6 weeks, Twister Sports returns 25% of each child’s tuition to the ECOC along with a record of attendance.
5. Any questions about the program can be answered by one of the six full-time staff members at Twister Sports.
6. Our staff updates parents on children’s progress through emails, a class lesson-plan, social media and website updates. At the end of the 6-week class, Twister Sports hosts a graduation ceremony at the Warrensburg location on an evening or weekend so the parents can see their children demonstrate the new skills!
