In the event that an active shooter situation evolves, staff will immediately take cover with students in the nearest room if a safe exit from the building is not possible. Take cover in a room that is enclosed and can be locked. 

The adult staff members will calmly and quietly call 9-1-1 to receive assistance. Stay on the line as requested by emergency dispatch.

The door should remain closed until emergency personnel deem the environment safe. Use objects within the room to barricade the door and remain silent. 

Rooms with doors that lock within this facility include: 

  • Twister Sports Office
  • North storage room
  • South storage room
  • Conference Room
  • Large cleaning Supply closet
  • Small bathroom inside the arcade

The building has the following available exits: 

  • Main entrance
  • Entrance leading to Escape Room
  • Behind Twisters banner
  • North floor exit
  • Batting cages
  • Dance room
  • Lamplighters large banquet room
  • Lamplighters front banquet room
  • South storage room
