Uniform Order System
Results Statement: By using this system, we will ensure that uniforms are ordered correctly every time resulting in less parent frustration and downtime in ordering.
- Athletes who are needing new uniforms should do their sizing at welcome nights when possible. Those who cannot make a welcome night for sizing need to set up an appointment with the All Star Director or a manager.
- Parents will scan the QR code to obtain the google form. The link is here for the current season’s form.
- Parents will complete the form to include uploading a picture of the uniform sizing kit on their child.
- The sizing kit comes in alternating sizes. Please note, if the youth small is too small and the youth large is too large, it’s safe to assume the child will need a youth medium.
- The following uniform sizing considerations should be made:
- Is this the first or second year for a uniform? If this is the second year, consider a slightly larger size that can be tacked. The size should not exceed reasonable measures.
- Consider the length of the skirt. It is easier to take in the waistline than to add length to a skirt.
- Uniforms should be properly fitted, but not overly tight or loose. Parents need to understand that if their child has a major growth spurt, they may be required to purchase a uniform again the following year. However, this is easier on a second year uniform as used uniforms are generally available for sale.
- The parent will complete and submit the form.
- The manager or director will confirm the form is received via email and confirm the parent selected the proper sizes on the form (the same sizes they tried on).
- Once the form is confirmed by the manager, the parent is free to go.
- The parent will receive a copy of the form in his/her email as well.
- The forms will populate onto a google spreadsheet and be filtered by program.
- When it’s time to order, make a copy of the form. Scrape the personal data.
- This is the spreadsheet you will send to CS Athletics.
Uniforms should be ordered by July 1.
Uniform Distribution System
Results Statement: By following this system, parents will get the correct uniform.
- Once the uniforms arrive, a staff member will take inventory within 24 hours of receipt.
- The sizes should correctly match the sizes ordered on the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet sent to the uniform company can be found on the Competitive Programs board for the current season under the card titled “Uniforms.”
- Once all sizes are confirmed, each uniform will be removed from the packaging and viewed for quality assurance within 3 days of the initial receipt of uniforms. Any uniforms not meeting standards will need to have a picture collected. The director will send these to the company within 24 hours.
- Uniforms should then be labeled with the athlete’s names. Use post-it notes inside the plastic for this. If Sharpie markers are used on the post-its, they should be written on a hard surface, left to dry and then placed in the bag.
- The uniform care instructions and quality control instructions should also be placed in the bag.
- Each team will have a bin for uniforms. Crossovers’ uniforms will be in the bin on the first day of the week of the practice. (If an athlete is on two teams, the team that practices first in the week is where the uniform should be stored.)
- Athletes must have a parent present when distributing uniforms. For senior athletes whose parents are not present, a verbal confirmation of uniform distribution is appropriate.
- All parents (or senior athletes) will sign off on the spreadsheet that they have received the uniform and it is listed as the proper size.
- Once we have the official distribution dates, the director should post on the team pages that the uniforms will be available for distribution under the following circumstances:
- A parent is present to sign for the uniform
- The athlete can try on the uniform within 24 hours of receiving it
- The director should also post about any deadlines for notifying staff of issues with uniforms.
