Results Statement: By checking your website each week for up-to-date information, you’re eliminating the friction from possible customer and prospective clients.

Use the following checklist weekly or bi-weekly. Also recommended: Delegate this to a staff member and have them take notes on what needs to be fixed.

Weekly/Bi-Weekly:

  • Click through each page on your website to ensure all information and events are up to date.
  • Review the gym calendar.
  • Consider what information must be on your homepage and if you have something important to market.
  • Review your menu to ensure the links function correctly.
  • Review the class schedule on your landing page.

Monthly:

  • Opt in to each form on your website with an email not in your marketing system to ensure your autoresponders/Trello connections are working.
  • Click all buttons to ensure they’re properly functioning.
  • Update plug ins on your site (if you run it yourself).

Quarterly:

  • Review your website from an iPad, laptop, desktop and phone (Settings are different for all devices, so you should do all of them.)
  • Log into your website and check that each page has metadata and a featured image so it assists your search results.
