Results Statement: By checking your website each week for up-to-date information, you’re eliminating the friction from possible customer and prospective clients.
Use the following checklist weekly or bi-weekly. Also recommended: Delegate this to a staff member and have them take notes on what needs to be fixed.
Weekly/Bi-Weekly:
- Click through each page on your website to ensure all information and events are up to date.
- Review the gym calendar.
- Consider what information must be on your homepage and if you have something important to market.
- Review your menu to ensure the links function correctly.
- Review the class schedule on your landing page.
Monthly:
- Opt in to each form on your website with an email not in your marketing system to ensure your autoresponders/Trello connections are working.
- Click all buttons to ensure they’re properly functioning.
- Update plug ins on your site (if you run it yourself).
Quarterly:
- Review your website from an iPad, laptop, desktop and phone (Settings are different for all devices, so you should do all of them.)
- Log into your website and check that each page has metadata and a featured image so it assists your search results.
